Our Message

Perhaps as you’ve been browsing our website, you realize that you are not even running the race. You have never been saved from your sin and have never entered into a relationship with God. The Bible says that you have a problem, that you are a sinner, and that your sin separates you from God.

“There is none righteous, no not one.”

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”

The Bible also says that there is a price for sin, and that price is death: a death which includes eternal separation from God in Hell fire. “For the wages of sin is death.”

But the Bible also says that the good news of the gospel is that God loves you so much that He sent His own Son Jesus to pay that price of death by dying in our place on the cross. “God commendeth His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

Christ “Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree.” So Jesus took our sin on Himself and died in our place. Not only did He take OUR sin, but He is willing to give us HIS righteousness, so that we will no longer have to be separated from God by our sin.

How do we receive Christ’s perfect righteousness and the forgiveness of sin? Believe and trust in Jesus with all your heart that He died on the cross for YOU, that He was buried, and that He rose again from the dead on the third day. Ask Him to forgive your sins and to come into your heart, to give you His own righteousness and the gift of eternal life.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

“If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved…For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

“That we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.”

“And be found in Him, not having mine OWN righteousness...but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of GOD by faith.”

Salvation from sin and Hell is a free gift from God - one so priceless that we could never earn it ourselves. “For by grace are ye saved, through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast.”

The Bible says that the result of salvation (not the way to get saved, but the result of salvation) will be a pure and holy life, a life lived through the enabling power of the Holy Spirit, who comes into your being when you ask Jesus into your heart. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, you will become more and more like Jesus every day.

“The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance.”

If you think of yourself as a Christian, but find that you are not living a pure and holy life unto God, perhaps you should examine your salvation. Are you really saved?

Perhaps you know you belong to Jesus, but you also know that you are weighed down and beset with sin that is hindering you from running the race that God has called you to run. Jesus offers grace to you, and wonderful restoration of your fellowship with Him, if you once again surrender your heart and life to Him. Ask God to teach you how to have a Holy Spirit-controlled life, so that you will be able to live a joyful, holy life of surrender unto God.

Whether you need saving grace or keeping grace,
Jesus offers his marvelous grace to you!
